Breakfast and overnight at hotel. Panoramic city tour. We will visit panoramically some of its main avenues and monumental fountains (Cibeles, Neptuno), as well as the famous and always busy Plaza Mayor (main square) and old town,. Balance of day to visit by your own Prado Musem, probably the best collection of classic painters on the world, and the magnificent Royal Palace.
Breakfast and overnight at hotel. Excursion to TOLEDO (Arrival in about 90 minutes). It was the capital and Royal residence in the middle age, and in XIIIth century the Moslems, Jewish, and Christians lived peacefully together flourishing as a great culture and monumental center. We will enjoy walking along its narrow streets where the history can be felt in the air. Afternoon, we suggest to visit the Cathedral, St tome Church (where is El Greco painter’s masterpiece) and the Synagogue. Return to Madrid
Breakfast. High speed train to Valencia (Arrival in about 1 hrs 50 minutes).
VALENCIA. Located in a fertile terrain and with a soft Mediterranean weather, it is surrounded by a rich orchard (its oranges are famous worldwide) and full of splendid public gardens. It was recovered for the Christian kingdom in the middle age by the mythic El Cid. In the morning, we suggest to visit its Gothic cathedral, where the bell tower called ‘Micalet’ is the symbol of the town .La Lonja (XVth exchange market) and the old market are also very singular. A ‘must’ to be visited the top new architecture project of the Ciudad de Las Artes y las Ciencias (city of Sciences and Arts). Overnight at hotel in Valencia.
Breakfast at hotel. We suggest follow discovering the city. High speed train to Barcelona (arrival in about 3 hrs 10 minutes). Overnight at hotel in Barcelona
Breakfast and overnight at hotel. Morning classic regular city tour. We will walk to the Gothic Quarter full of XII to XVIth century buildings, visiting inside the Cathedral. We will visit panoramically the ‘Ensanche’, quarter built in XIXth century where La Sagrada Familia church and most of the Modernism buildings are. And of course to walk along the always alive Ramblas street, full of street actors, musicians, painters, …
